Catch up on January 2014

I am still taking *about* one photo a day. Sometimes, it is a lot more, and sometimes I forget. Many photos, I can't post because they have our foster daughter in them. Here is one giant post of photos from the last few weeks. Enjoy:)

My sister had her second daughter, Tessa Joy....

Daddy brought home  a box for the kids to play with....currently, there are two littles in this box......

And, Chick is trying to escape.

WOMEN AT RISK INTERNATIONAL: A human trafficking ministry. Women make goods to sell, and make a profit so that they don't have to sell their bodies. Caleb was given a pair of these adorable slippers. Every time I wear them, I am so glad that there are people who are bringing justice to trafficking, and it reminds me to pray!

It is totally normal to wear water rings around our feet as flippers.

You never know when you The Cat in the Hat will show up on the elliptical machine.

Caleb's new friend has an awesome movie theatre in her basement. It was super dark when I took this picture (isn't it always in movie theatres), and as I lightened in photoshop, it became grainy. See, this is why I am doing a photo a day, helps me to work on some of these skills.

More "movie theatre" fun:)

It's totally normal to have a dragon be checking out groceries that are being purchased by a princess, right?

And just a few more photos from our super fun play date:)

Just making homemade pretzels with the boy.

January 7, 2014

Sure, she's blind, she smells, she licks far too much, but it is stinkin cold outside (-23), so she is most definitely sleeping on my bed. Jon even agreed, though he would not admit it publicly:)

Sometimes, a superhero is found in your living room, jumping and flying over his "fortress."

No wonder my house is in constant disarray.

January 5, 2014

Lots of snow today. I went outside to snap some photos and I hear my neighbor, "Sure, she won't pick up a shovel, just her camera." True words neighbor. True words. We have easily a foot of snow. Jon shoveled 3 times today. The piles are almost taller than me, and definitely taller than Caleb. Made for a fun day, you know, if you like the whole outdoor, cold thing.
